	Wednesday March 6, 2013 We had a great time throughout the weekend. Rick and Sharon were wonderful and all our helpers, Catarino, Martha, Salvador, Jose were here to be our rock. Catalina and Cindi were educationalists while serving our wine. Our sales were what was expected. The organizers (Not me) are concerned about young people coming in to learn about wine and Partying too much. My thought is they are the future and we want them telling our story to new people. I am thus not happy about the charge of $50 now and the discouragement by the Wine Road of vans and buses. http://stockcharts.com/freecharts/historical/djia1900.html Some of you may be wondering what the stock market is doing...........of course you know the Market hit an all time high yesterday............am I right again about a Democrat president in office is good for the Market........yes. A long term chart back to the 1929 crash shows what I mean. Since the crash, the Dow has gone up from 41 to 14,300. Roosevelt died in office when the Dow was about 180, up over 4 times. Truman left office at about 270. Eisenhower did well leaving office at about 700 a time when a Republican did well. Kennedy died after only 3 years when the Dow was only up slightly. Johnson left office when the Dow was about 900. When I was playing the Market from from 1965 until 1979 there was a big consolidation similar in ways to what we have gone through since 1999. Not until Reagan's second term, about 1985 did we break out. Clinton has the best record with the Dow up about 5 times during his 2 terms. From 2000 to 2008 we had Bush in office and the Dow was down big when Obama took office. Sure there have been times when the Market has gone up when Republicans have been president but surely no one can deny we have done better during Democrat presidencies. That brings me to my decision to sell some of my stock now that the market has more than doubled in the last 4 years. Congress has disappointed me so I have sold most of my Google stock. It is at an all time high and so I have great profits. I could be wrong but there is nothing wrong with buying low and selling high. I have held on to most of my Apple stock and it is down a lot. Time will tell. Is it time for Wearable Computers? I am hoping in the next several years, either by glasses or a wrist watch a revolution will begin. We won't need to carry a flat object around anymore. What ever it is will have a button to activate which will light up a transparent screen which can be manipulated.  Thursday March 7, 2013 All of us who are into relating to the public, {a public is a population of individuals in association} with one thing, like wine. Any people we see during a day, we have to go through a controlled being in us. We all who see people have to try to be nice or not. Everyday is a challenge. Like I say everyday is interesting in some way. We moved barrels around and we have decided to change the order of wines............much more than that. This weekend..............At this Wine Road Barrel Tasting Event, Every winery serves bottled wine for sale except us. I could be wrong because I do not get out and visit every winery. I am hoping to get out Saturday or Sunday to spy on other wineries. I know at least most wineries serve bottled wine for sale so we have to think of the "Future" and offer bottled wine to those who do not want to commit to 12 bottles of Futures. So for the first time we will be serving 3 bottles of wine you can take away. All these 15 years or so I have participated in this Barrel Tasting, I respected the title............Barrel Tasting event!! So until tomorrow we have only given samples of Barrels to be released as "Futures" later in July. We sell less "Futures" every year whether it is by this great Barrel Tasting event or by our great online offer. So my guess for why: there are a lot of young people out there learning about wine and they are the future.   We start again tomorrow so it is always fun to have people come to see us and enjoy...............
