	Monday July 21, 2014 Who would want to work for the IRS or our state, Franchise Tax Board? Both agencies have given me refunds and also tried to bill me for something they think I screwed up on. Of course we do have an accountant who does a great job but sometimes I give him the wrong info or we file the wrong form. No one is perfect except our tax people. So it is nice when they give me a refund with a small amount of interest but when I make a mistake (they are usually wrong), I am charged a penalty for late filing of as much as 10% per month. Why aren't the tax people penalized also for making me stressed? The IRS is trying to charge me over $5000 for making payments one week late for all of last year. I paid everything they asked for and they even told me to file monthly, not every two weeks........Long........Long story to be resolved, hopefully............. Matt is here today. He took off 6 days. I will leave for 6 days also soon for a trip to Long Beach. Matt and I will have no more vacations until November. Harvest will be early and start around the 7th of August. Tuesday July 22, 2014 This has been another amazing day. We had several more problems that we are still working on and Matt and I are getting ready for Harvest............... But the first call I got today was from a very nice guy from Texas. It was a somewhat deficient connection by phone but he only had to say two words and the connection got a lot better...."Model S". He has been waiting since February and he is finally going to fly to California and pick up his Tesla in Fremont about 100 miles from here. He wants to drive here so we will have a charger ready for him. We talked for 15 minutes from Texas and we only talked about Tesla. I asked how he knew about me and he said his wife knew I had a Tesla, Model S and she said "He likes all the things you like, he has a winery, so we should visit". We are trying to set up a time to meet but he is still not sure he is on the schedule to get his Model S. I told him I received my Model S after ordering 6 weeks, it might have been 7 weeks. He will be down the coast as far as we will be and he then will drive all the way back to Texas and pay for no gas, no money. He said they were big wine lovers. After the nice call, I then of course had all the other small problems to deal with, but I started thinking about these new Tesla owners so I looked them up and they have not purchased wine form us before so how did they find out about us?? GOOG, I sold all my Google but it is the place to find out anything........We proud owners of Model S will try to get together........... Then at 11am we got a visit from one our local dedicated customers. He is retired and we gave our age of my being 71 and he being 74, I think. He walks better than I, and he is a lot skinnier. He wanted to walk out in the vineyard, he has a great education and loves still learning more, just like I. I loved the adventure out in the vineyard and i need to do it more often. It had been a week since I was out with Catarino and things had changed. Matt and I with John, enjoyed a great education, always a surprise, like every year. Matt and I were marveling on how much color existed. We decided after a few tests that we are still scheduled for the second week in August to make sparkling wine............. 9:00 Pm: I mentioned Catarino earlier. He is off in Oregon and it is raining so he may not get all the Salmon he is hoping for. Yes Catarino is up in Oregon and still calls me only four days into his two week vacation. He wanted to let me know he was coming back and He wants to see me Sunday to see if I need something before he goes down to San Jose to see his Mother for another week. Neither Catarino nor I want to be away from here........ Catarino loves this property as much as I do. He calls me his angel and I know he is my best friend now. Matt and I are more professional, and more business, but we make great wine..............I cut off most of my hair today so i am getting ready for Harvest................... Thursday July 24, 2014 This is crazy. Those people are obsessed with KNDI. The stock is up from 15 to 22 and now down to 17 in two hours yesterday so these people on the yahoo group sent me over 5 hundred messages and I have deleted past ones most of the time. These obsessed people like this company but it is a Chinese company......long story.......... I know, you know.........one of my passions is the stock market. Most of my money is in Amazon, AMZN. They reported earnings so it will be down by 40 points at one time tomorrow morning, NOW is it a buy because their sales were up by 23%, no the after hours people thing it is more important that Amazon lost money. They still had big cash flow so Amazon will continue to make me and most of their customers happy with great services (Cash Flow is the name of the game!!!!!). I know for a fact, you do not have to make money to have money. Tax breaks help when you spend money on your business. Now that I am 71, I am going to Costco less often (Used to be my favorite spot) but now I am more about convenience, so I discovered Costco Business Delivery free delivery over $250 order, and especially Amazon,way over 50% of my purchases lately. Now Amazon reported a disappointing earnings report so the stock is down 10% and now Kndi is down more........and then Tesla is coming out with earnings. I can always hope. Look, I have good profits in all three of these stocks, I may buy more. Yes I need a vacation and everyone down in SoCal will give me a nice escape before Harvest.............
