October 4 - October 17, 2015

	Wednesday October 7, 2015 Susie is here, my second daughter who is doing well by helping Microsoft up in Seattle. She has a wedding to go to Saturday with a great friend so the couple to be married Saturday were here last night for Pizza. We are treated to some Paella at the wedding and we are providing the wine....we may see The Martian on Sunday........ Wednesday October 14, 2015 Brad is leaving again so it will be hard for me for the next three weeks. I will be away for a time when we head off to a cruise. Wine Club!!!!!!! It is a lot of work but we do make money so thank you all who take our shipment at only $130 net including shipment.......I digress.............. As most of you know we have been required to received a new CHIP card so everyone in the last year has received a new card, required for a good reason but of course it is hard on we retailers. The big companies have paid millions, here we have paid only $400 for one terminal, if some of our customers have not updated their card................. So when we ran our Club cards Monday we had 15% bounces on all our credit card approvals. Some of our best customers did not see a little change in their new CHIP card so I do not blame them. I have seen more than 100 updates I have done in the last week and many have only a small change, like 06/16, now 06/17 and it has made probably 5% failed. So now in the next few days before my cruise it will be actually fun to help all these great customers come back to new shipments of great wine. I had some great wines open tonight but I must say just before dinner I had to bring up a 2013 Block 4 and it was a winner. So some of you know I take in some money for a short time around this time.........Most of our customers purchase wine when we bring out our Pre-Harvest Futures, next time 2016, March 29 or about. Those prices are the lowest. After the next few days, we usually have lower sales until next March so I have to take in these nice sales from the Club to survive for 4 months, little coming in........... That does not mean I can't buy some stocks while I have a few bucks until bottling in January.,,,,,,.,,,uuuugh yes that will cost a lot........maybe over $20,000 I have to plan and I have barrel companies to pay also many more thousands..........it did not work out with a company for me to lease and they would pay. They were too slow in paying so I pride myself with anyone to pay on time and usually too soon........... Leasing is not  ever worked for me......... but for now maybe it is time to buy more Tesla!!!!!! Yes I still love my Tesla..............
