We did bottle our 2006 Ultimate Cuvee and it is ready for pickup.

I have to admit I am a huge Obama supporter. I am sure there are many of you who don't agree. For me he brings me hope and change. There is hope for those of you who are Republicans and want Hillary to run. If Hillary loses all the states coming up in the next two weeks she could try to unite the party and back Obama. But if she wins one state, this thing will go on for another month. Hillary could win and run against McCain. The Republicans could beat her. They will be united. Hillary has all the super delegates controlled. Sure they could unite around Obama but they owe the Clinton's because he was in the White House for 8 years. Since 1968 this Nation has had Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, a total of 40 years. That is a total of 28 years for Republicans and 12 years for Democrats. Are we better off today than 40 years ago. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do I think we could have done better?? YES!!! That is why I support Barack Obama. He gives me hope and Idealism. Am I an Idealist? Yes. Sure I suspect he will not change Washington much but it will be interesting and I know he will try. John Kennedy brought me hope. Caroline the other day gave me hope again that things may change with Obama. As I have said in this diary before I am very concerned about the lack of respect we have from other countries. Obama is our Hope for a new respect for our Nation. Yes we can!

Here is what I wrote on Saturday October 16, 2004:

>>>I have to get into the Stock Market. It was interesting that I heard President Bush in the last two debates say that the Stock Market had been going down 6 months before he was elected. Yes I agree that stocks had started down then, but isn't the Stock Market supposed to predict future events. Some of the reason the Stock Market had been going down could have been the realization that we were going to have a Republican President. Here is what I wrote in December of 2000 just after President Bush was declared the winner.

"I know most of you are hoping the stock market will start going up since we finally have a Republican president elect. Beware, check out history. I have been following the stock market since 1962 and have noticed that, probably by chance, the stock market goes up more during Democratic administrations. Just think, for the last year, most of us have expected Bush to get in as our next president. Then why has the general market been going down? In other  words, just because we have a Republican in, that doesn't mean the market will go up."
I see I was right or has History repeated itself again? Although don't worry, just as when Reagan was elected in 1980 the Stock Market went down, but in his second term it started back up again. So my prediction is that no matter who gets elected President the Market will go up.<<<

I am not surprised that I was right. Actually since the 1920's the Stock Market has gone down with Republicans and up with Democrats. Since I wrote that diary entry back in 2004 the Dow has gone up from 10,000 to 12,200, an increase of 20.2 percent. Sure it was up to 14,000 and now down 13% from the top. Could the Stock Market be predicting another Republican President? I hope not. The Market usually predicts 6 months in advance so there is still hope.
