Weeks 51-52
December 16, 2001 to December 29, 2001 

	Friday, December 28, 2001 I know you have thought I have vanished, but that is not the case. I have been so busy with family celebrations and new computers and bills and taxes; that I have had little time to think about this diary. As I have said, this diary is for me also, so I need to document important things that involve the winery. There actually have been very few things that have been important in our winemakking. Brendan has appeared only a few times in the last two months. That means there has been little to do and I have been too involved with computers.  We have been installing into our network two new computers that will speed up our "Futures" transactions. Hopefully this will be finished in the next two weeks. Also we are expecting a new expensive instrument that will give us alcohol results in one minute. I will report further on this $14,000 product next week when it arrives. We are planning to blend our 2001 wines in two weeks and we need the alcohol tabulations of 80 different wines which will make blends into 12 bottled wines.
