Tasting Notes: 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon (and then some)
    David Perlmutter, March 24, 2000

I opened a bottle of the 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon on Tuesday and drank it over the last two nights.  This was my first Coffaro cab., so I have nothing but  your other wines to compare it to.  I thought it was delicious from beginning to end.  Nice level of intensity of cab chocolatey and dark fruit flavors perfectly balanced with the lingering spice I have found to be your hallmark.  Less overtly fruity than the 97 Estate Cuvee I had last summer, more depth and grace than the recent tasting of 1998 Neighbors Zin or 1998 ZP2C, but each all with that hallmark spice.
