I couldn't agree with you more! There is so much fruit in this
wine right now, that to some it is overwhelming. Hard to imagine that the
fruit could get any more up front than it is now. While the best may be
yet to come, it certainly is quite an experience now. For comparison
I also had a bottle of the 97 Alderbrook Gamba on Thanksgiving. Also
lots of fruit but much more oak that hides some of the obvious zin character.
Still a nice bottleof wine though.
